A Favourite Photo
I remember this photograph being in my grandmother's house. It was always on display. I found it when my mother died and now it is on display again. It shows my uncle, Graeme Brown, when he was in the Merchant Navy, his sister, my mother Dorothy & my father William Bates while still a Sapper Officer (that was a wartime commission).
